About the Opportunity
Our client, a global technology consulting company with over 87,000 employees across 40+ countries, is seeking talented professionals to join their European operations supporting major digital transformation programmes in the banking and financial services sector.
The Role
We are hiring an experienced Scrum Master to guide and coach delivery teams on a major banking transformation programme in Nicosia. You will embed Agile practice across the team, keep Scrum honest and effective, and work with stakeholders inside and outside the team to remove impediments and drive value-driven delivery.
What You Will Do
- Guide and coach the Scrum team on applying Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
- Develop the team towards high performance, recognising strengths and improvement areas and applying the right coaching and development techniques
- Ensure Scrum theory, practice and guidelines are understood and followed
- Coach the team in self-organisation, cross-functional skill development and domain knowledge
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective
- Proactively resolve team impediments, working with fellow Scrum Masters to strengthen Scrum across the organisation
- Report to stakeholders using Agile metrics, and communicate effectively both within the team and externally
- Work with the Scrum team and internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive decision making
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master within Agile delivery environments
- Strong grounding in value-driven Agile delivery, project governance, risk and crisis management, and stakeholder management
- Working exposure to Jira, Confluence and MS Office
- Strong communication and reporting skills, including Agile metrics for stakeholders
- The tact and presence to engage, energise and support the Scrum team and those around it
The Details
- Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Fully onsite, no remote or hybrid option
- Open to candidates already based in Cyprus only
- Hours: 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday
- Permanent, full time
- Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
