About the Opportunity
Our client, a global technology consulting company with over 87,000 employees across 40+ countries, is seeking talented professionals to join their European operations supporting major digital transformation programmes in the banking and financial services sector.
The Role
We are hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology programmes across our client’s banking portfolio in Nicosia. You will own end to end delivery, partner with PMO, business teams, IT and third party vendors, and bring projects in on time, on scope and on budget.
What You Will Do
- Lead end to end delivery of technology projects, coordinating across IT PMO, Business PMO, IT teams and third party vendors
- Define project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, validating technical feasibility
- Build detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage changes to scope, schedule and cost
- Track performance using appropriate tools and techniques, escalating to leadership where required
- Run proactive risk management and mitigation across the full project lifecycle
- Manage relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
- Produce and maintain full project documentation, including WSRs, Project Initiation, PP and TS
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the IT sector
- Solid technical grounding with hands on exposure to software development and web or cloud technologies
- Strong working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Excellent client facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong escalation management capability
- Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Competency level C4M4P4 or C5M5P5

- MPP for estimation
- Banking domain experience
- Cross cultural and multi vendor team experience
- Hybrid methodology experience
- Track record of running multiple concurrent projects across different technologies or business areas
The Details
- Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Fully onsite, no remote or hybrid option
- Hours: 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday
- Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
