Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in iGaming and online casino platforms to join the technology team in Cyprus.

This role is focused on ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of customer-facing and internal platform features across Casino, Sportsbook, Payments, CRM, Bonus Systems, and Back Office environments.

The ideal candidate should be able to thoroughly understand product requirements, identify potential risks before release, execute comprehensive testing activities, and work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and Support teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can think critically, identify edge cases, challenge assumptions, and proactively detect issues before they impact users or business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze different digital and iGaming products, including competitor platforms, market standards, user flows, business logic, and technical requirements
  • Perform manual testing of Casino, Sportsbook, Payments, CRM, Bonus Systems, Player Account Management, and Back Office features.
  • Validate new product releases, feature enhancements, integrations, and platform updates before production deployment.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and regression testing plans.
  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and product specifications to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure reported issues are fully resolved before release.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new developments do not negatively affect existing functionality.
  • Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive design testing across desktop and mobile environments.
  • Test user registration, login, verification, KYC, payment, withdrawal, bonus, wagering, gaming, and player account workflows.
  • Validate bonus mechanics, free spins, cashback offers, tournaments, loyalty systems, gamification features, and promotional campaigns.
  • Test integrations with third-party providers, payment gateways, game providers, CRM platforms, and external services.
  • Use API testing tools such as Postman to validate backend functionality and integration behavior.
  • Analyze browser developer tools, logs, network requests, and system responses to investigate issues and identify root causes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and Customer Support teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, feature validation, and release readiness activities.
  • Ensure all releases meet agreed quality standards before production deployment.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date QA documentation and testing records.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance.
  • Previous experience working with online casino or iGaming platforms is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Casino, Sportsbook, Payments, Bonuses, Promotions, and Player Management workflows.
  • Experience testing web-based and mobile responsive applications.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and QA documentation.
  • Experience using bug tracking and defect management tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, or similar.
  • Good understanding of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to analyze browser developer tools, logs, and network activity.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and potential product risks.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (B1 or higher).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Smartico, GR8, Betby, or similar iGaming platforms.
  • Experience testing bonus engines, campaign management tools, tournaments, loyalty systems, and gamification products.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
  • Experience testing payment provider integrations and transactional systems.
  • Understanding of KYC, AML, responsible gambling, and compliance-related functionality.
