Our client is a global liquidity and technology provider delivering advanced trading solutions, liquidity access and risk management tools to institutional clients, including corporates, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially driven International BDM to support institutional growth across the UK and EU region. The core objective is to contribute directly to sustainable revenue growth through institutional client acquisition, portfolio development and long-term partnership support. You will build a strong pipeline of prospects, convert opportunities into active relationships, and support client retention through a high standard of engagement across the lifecycle.
The role requires a proactive approach to market outreach, disciplined pipeline management, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience from origination through onboarding and ongoing account support. Reports to the Head of Operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and engaging institutional prospects through targeted outreach and relationship-building
- Driving new business opportunities that contribute to incremental revenue growth and portfolio expansion
- Supporting the development of high-quality client relationships aligned with long-term commercial value
- Coordinating closely with Onboarding, Compliance, Trading, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth client activation and operational efficiency
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients to strengthen retention and encourage ongoing trading activity
- Monitoring account performance and identifying opportunities for cross-sell and strategic expansion
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and clear pipeline visibility to support forecasting and performance tracking
- Contributing market intelligence and client feedback to inform business development planning and regional growth
- Representing the firm professionally in client meetings, industry events and external engagements
What We’re Looking For
- 4 to 6 years in institutional sales, financial services outreach or business development
- Background in Financial Markets Sales or B2B Sales
- Product knowledge across FX, CFDs, derivatives, liquidity provision, prime brokerage or trading technology
- Experience selling to brokers, hedge funds, asset managers and other institutional and professional clients
- Strong skills across new business acquisition, pipeline and account management, revenue growth, and cross-sell/upsell
- CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, focused on long-term partnership development
