The Challenge

A prominent full-service law firm in Nicosia needed a Systems Administrator to manage and secure their cloud and on-premises infrastructure, support IT projects, and strengthen cybersecurity. The role required hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Windows Server, and enterprise backup solutions.

Law firms handle sensitive client data, so the client needed someone who understood IT security best practices, access control, encryption, and endpoint protection—not just general IT support.

The Search

We targeted IT professionals with 3+ years of systems administration experience and a strong security mindset. Candidates needed proven hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft stack, experience with enterprise backup solutions, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues independently.

We prioritised individuals who could document processes clearly and work autonomously while supporting a professional services environment.

The Solution

We presented a systems administrator with direct experience in regulated environments where data security was paramount. They had solid Microsoft certifications, hands-on experience with the required technologies, and a methodical approach to infrastructure management.

Their professional demeanour and attention to documentation aligned with the firm’s culture of accountability and trust.

The Outcome

The hire has taken full ownership of the firm’s infrastructure, implementing improved patch management processes and strengthening security controls, system reliability and response times for IT issues.
