The Challenge

A global financial services provider needed an Institutional Sales Manager with a proven track record in the EU, MENA, or LATAM regions. The role required someone capable of building and maintaining high-value relationships with banks, brokers, hedge funds, and high-net-worth individuals—driving significant trading volumes in Forex and CFD markets.

Senior sales professionals at this level are difficult to find and highly sought after. The client needed someone with an existing network who could hit the ground running.

 

The Search

We activated our network of senior sales professionals in the FX and CFD space, targeting individuals with deep institutional relationships and a track record of generating substantial trading volumes. The search focused on candidates with strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the autonomy to drive results without hand-holding.

We looked beyond Cyprus, as the role could be performed remotely under a service agreement.

We identified an experienced institutional sales professional with extensive relationships across target regions. They had a proven track record of winning and retaining institutional clients, deep understanding of financial markets, and the commercial instincts to identify and close high-value opportunities.
