We asked Georgia Michaelides, Senior Recruiter at Emerald Zebra with 20 years of recruiting experience, a couple of questions to share her insights.

Here’s what she had to say about her unique approach to recruitment and how she builds strong, long-lasting relationships:

❓What unique strengths or experiences do you personally bring to Emerald Zebra, and how do they enhance the recruitment experience for your clients and candidates❓

🙋🏻‍♀️Speaking of unique, the Emerald Zebra team is definitely as unique as its name! We all come from diverse backgrounds and bring with us various professional experiences but yet we are all so similar when it comes to our commitment, our dedication and our values.

As a member of this exceptional team, I contribute a blend of extensive recruitment expertise, strong project management skills, keen attention to detail and most importantly, a deep commitment to the human element. My background in psychology and business, combined with my natural ability to listen, care, support and find solutions, allows me to deliver results that create positive outcomes.

Recruitment is not a “one-size-fits-all” process but a personalized journey! My approach is personalized, human, prioritizing the needs of both clients and candidates at every stage of the recruitment process and enhancing their overall recruitment experience.

❓Why do you believe candidates and companies choose to work specifically with you at Emerald Zebra, and how do you build those lasting relationships❓

🙋🏻‍♀️Our high level of personalized service and commitment are what truly set us apart! Clients and candidates choose to work with me for my partner approach and passion for successfully connecting companies and job seekers.

Whether it’s introducing candidates to opportunities they might not know exist or connecting clients with both active job seekers and passive candidates, I have a flair for finding the right fit. My network extends across local professionals, expats and relocators to Cyprus. By tapping into these diverse groups, I’m able to find that hidden talent that traditional company job ads often will not attract, helping my clients discover top talent they wouldn’t have reached otherwise and at the same time exposing my candidates to amazing job opportunities.

I always aim to be a trusted partner throughout the entire recruitment journey of my clients and candidates. Building strong relationships through open, honest communication and a transparent approach is my priority. For me, recruitment is not just about filling a vacancy or finding a job, it’s about providing tailored advice and solutions.
I genuinely care and I am fully committed to their success. They recognize the positive impact of partnering with me and how they benefit from my guidance, understanding of their needs, and my ability to access hidden talent and amazing job opportunities. The trust and mutual respect we build are key to achieving repeated successful results!
