Join Emerald Zebra’s outstanding recruiting team in Cyprus

Emerald Zebra needs to recruit a recruitment specialist. But not just any recruitment specialist, an OUTSTANDING one!

Emerald Zebra (EZ) exists to service the financial and technology jobs market across Cyprus and beyond. The company, incorporated by industry-celebrated recruiting expert Donna Stephenson, was founded in Limassol last year in response to the ongoing attraction and facilitation of direct investment in key economic areas in Cyprus – as well as for the promotion of Cyprus as a tech hub and European investment destination.

Due to our ongoing and rapidly expanding success, EZ is generating a significant amount of new business every day in the Cypriot financial and technology sectors. Consequently, we need someone special to take up a key position joining our team of 6 incredible recruiters.

In the current climate, the jobs market offers more roles than there are quality candidates, but just because it’s a buyer’s market doesn’t mean that we budge one millimetre from our very strict matching technique of finding the right people for placements. We’re all about repeat business and long terms relationships. Just putting forward someone who ‘can do the job’ is very definitely not our style.

We need someone who has the experience, skills and business acumen to search the job market, build rapport with our pool of candidates and skilfully place the correct safe hands in our clients’ gloves. The ethos behind Emerald Zebra is finding OUTSTANDING people, not those who just get camouflaged in the herd.

Our intended rising star will focus on the conversion of client vacancies into placements, and most importantly, be solely responsible for also building their own client base through astute new business development. This isn’t a job for a pedestrian, this is quality recruitment in the fast lane – finding the right people promptly for our clients, without sacrificing an iota of quality. Ever.

To join us, you’ll need to have high energy with social media skills to create your own brand within our brand. You’ll be posting very regularly to all appropriate platforms, building an audience of clients and candidates, quickly understanding the techniques that work and those that don’t. Regular attendance of networking events and such activities is a key part of the position; so this definitely isn’t something for a nine-to-five person. Plus, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of hybrid or remote working and flexible hours. In fact, we don’t really care where and when you work, so long as you’re producing the goods for us – and, of course, yourself!

You might have gained your experience as an in-house talent acquisition expert, or perhaps you are a seasoned agency-side recruiter. Ideally, you’ll have cut your teeth in both worlds. It goes without saying that technology or finance sector recruitment experience is at the core of your skillset. You will need to have been demonstrably successful for at least the last 1-2 years in the FinTech arena and its collateral recruitment sectors. You must be degree educated, with a perfectly fluent / native command of written and spoken English.

Why not head over to emeraldzebra.cy and look around our website. You’ll see how we only need outstanding people; not just those who mingle amongst the herd – then get in contact with Donna Stephenson right now and tell her how you are going to earn your stripes with us!
