About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a prestigious legal group, we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their high-calibre Accounting & Finance team onsite at their Limassol, Cyprus offices. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to develop within a well-established organisation, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records using the company’s accounting software
- Prepare and maintain ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
- Perform reconciliations across accounts
- Execute payments through web-banking systems
- Contribute to statutory compliance requirements, including VAT, Financial Statements and Tax
Your Profile – Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Previous relevant experience 1-2 years
- Holder of LCCI Higher or GCE A Level
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong time-management skills and adherence to deadlines
- Keen to learn, with a positive attitude and a collaborative team-player mindset
- Strong work ethics, confidentiality and a professional approach
- Good command of both the Greek and English language
- Intention to obtain a professional qualification (ACCA or CAT), considered an advantage
