Our client, a leading provider of business intelligence, credit information and due diligence solutions with deep expertise across the Middle East, Africa and beyond, is seeking an experienced Head of Delivery – Research and Investigation (R&I) to serve as the operational second-in-command of its Research & Investigation function in Limassol, Cyprus.
Part of a global credit and risk group, the business combines specialist regional knowledge with international scale, holding one of the world’s largest corporate and legal-entity databases. This is a rare opportunity to own the operating system behind a high-volume, quality-critical delivery function during a period of growth and transformation.
**Must be eligible to work in the EU, no work visa provided**
The Role:
Reporting to the R&I Director, the Head of R&I Delivery is accountable for the performance, reliability, quality and continuous improvement of the end-to-end delivery system for Credit Reports and Due Diligence Reports.
This is not a role focused on managing researchers or allocating individual cases, that responsibility sits with the Operations Manager. Instead, the successful candidate will own the wider operating system: performance, delivery governance, quality, capacity, escalation, process design and the implementation of change. They will provide the management layer that connects daily production with the strategic direction set by the R&I Director, ensuring that Operations, Quality Assurance and Training & Development function as one integrated system rather than independent teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end delivery system and ensure it consistently meets SLA, quality, client and operational expectations.
- Oversee Operations, SLA and backlog governance, maintaining visibility of turnaround times, delivery risk and capacity, and driving structured recovery where performance falls below expectations.
- Govern the Quality Assurance function, protecting its independence from production pressure and ensuring QA drives upstream improvement rather than acting solely as end-stage inspection.
- Direct Training & Capability Development so that learning priorities are tied to real operational and quality needs, and build succession and backup capability across critical functions.
- Lead continuous improvement and organisational design across the R&I operating model, challenging legacy practices and reducing unnecessary complexity.
- Represent operational requirements in transformation, automation and data initiatives, ensuring new tools strengthen rather than weaken traceability and report quality.
- Lead operational project implementation, manage supplier and partner relationships, and act as the principal operational escalation point before matters reach the R&I Director.
- Manage through managers — coaching Operations, QA and Training leaders to solve problems at the appropriate level while providing evidence-based performance input to the Director.
About the Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a broad, execution-oriented leader who integrates specialist functions rather than being the deepest technical expert in every area. They will combine strong operational delivery experience with systems thinking, learning agility and sound judgment under ambiguity.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- 10+ years’ experience in operations, service delivery, research delivery, due diligence, compliance, business information or another analytical production environment.
- Proven experience managing managers or multiple operational functions.
- Strong command of delivery management — SLA, backlog, turnaround, capacity planning, prioritisation and escalation.
- A track record in quality standards, root-cause analysis, SOPs, workflow improvement and operational restructuring.
- The ability to lead cross-functional projects from requirements through rollout and adoption.
- Strong operational data literacy and a working understanding of automation, AI-enabled workflows and digital tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management across senior leadership, operational teams, clients and external partners.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (advanced degrees or operations / project / change-management qualifications are an advantage).
- Excellent English is required; Arabic and/or French are a distinct advantage.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary Range: EUR 42,000 – 54,000 gross/year based on experience
- Hybrid Working Schedule (4 days remote & 1 day onsite)
- Health Insurance
- Training and Development
- Growth and pay rises based on performance
