Donna Stephenson
Founder & CEO
As well as leading a truly exceptional team, Donna takes a hands-on approach to recruitment and is passionate about finding the right people for the right job. She ensures that the recruitment process is fair, transparent, and ethical. Donna's extensive network of connections reaches across continents, and she specialises in the recruitment of Executive/C-level, board, and NED appointments, as well as middle management roles and their functional reports.
In addition to recruitment services, Donna also provides coaching, CV writing, and LinkedIn profile writing. She holds a BSc in European Business & Technology from a UK University and is an ENTP according to the Myers Briggs 2019 assessment.
From England and trained at one of the most successful recruiting businesses in the world, Donna achieved her first recruitment office in the UK at the age of 27. Donna moved to Cyprus in 2003, and later founded, directed and achieved successful share sale exits in several businesses within the recruiting and business outsourcing sectors in Cyprus during 2005-2018. Donna is well versed in advising boards for corporate hiring, serving on HR committees and educational development groups (Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA, HR/Training Committee), Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, CISI, London/Cyprus). She has been a panel and keynote speaker at various industry conferences, including HR panels, iFX Cyprus, Forex Expo, and iFX Dubai.

Terri Neofitou
Country Manager
Terri places the candidate journey/experience at the heart of what she does, with a focus on building long term relationships with her clients and supporting people to achieve their career aspirations. A people person, passionate about recruitment and understanding the needs of an organisation and what candidates want in their career progression, Terri delivers with a strong business ethics approach.
Terri often describes herself as multi-hyphenate, with her academic background being in both Psychology and Business respectively at BSc level and then onto a MSc in Clinical Psychology. Terri has also received certifications in digital marketing.
In her early career, Terri worked in market research whilst completing her higher education and then moved onto specialising as an Applied Behavioral Analyst (ABA). Her career path has included ABA therapy, Senior Recruitment Consultancy, and Head of Marketing and PR for an International organization. Terri has also taken on the responsibility of Head of Operations as an interim role whilst fulfilling her main role as a Head of Marketing and PR. Today, as Country Director, Terri brings a wealth of experience to Emerald Zebra.

If you ask her to describe what a recruiter does on a typical working day, she will tell you that no one day is the same because as a recruiter every day you interact with so many different people with so many different needs and requirements, and this is what she loves about this job! Her approach is guided by a focus on building strong relationships with both her clients and candidates and believes it is the secret to any successful cooperation. A simple approach of taking time to understand the needs and preferences of each individual candidate and client but yet so important. Her driving force is her passion for people and commitment to excellence, so whether you are a candidate looking for your next career opportunity or a client looking for top talent her goal is to make the process as smooth as possible and provide a positive experience with a promise to deliver an exceptional service and results.
Her multicultural and international mindset stems from growing up in New York City. She obtained a BA degree with honours with a major in Psychology and a minor in Communications from The City University of New York (CUNY) - Hunter College and an MBA degree with a specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The City University of New York (CUNY) - Baruch College. Upon relocating to Cyprus, she secured a position in the Shipping industry and more specifically in Commercial Operations. Later she entered the Telecommunications industry as a Team Leader of a Business Development and Planning department and worked on various projects relating to CRM functions and call centres. In addition, she was involved in the development of policy and procedure manuals for the company. Her passion for helping people led her to join a start-up recruitment company in Cyprus as a junior consultant and with her hard work ethic and dedication she became a Branch Manager and played a key role in the company’s growth and success. She continued her career with providing independent consulting services until the inception of Emerald Zebra which she happily joined in 2022. Work-life balance is important to her and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family doing outdoor activities and she loves to travel!
