Our client is a growing tax and technology business helping individuals and companies handle their tax matters with clarity, speed and confidence. They combine practical expertise with a modern, commercially driven approach.
This search is open across two levels, from Junior Tax Associate through to Senior Associate or Assistant Manager.
The Opportunity
1. Senior Associate / Assistant Manager — €25,000 to €35,000 gross per annum
2. Junior Tax Associate — €22,000 to €25,000 gross per annum
Senior Associate/Assistant Manager – Tax, Commercial & Operation, Nicosia, Cyprus | €25,000–€35,000 gross/annum
The Role
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially minded Assistant Manager with a technical foundation in tax and accounting. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay in a purely compliance-driven, process-only mindset — we want someone who has been through that world, proven they can handle it, and is now ready to build something with real ownership and impact. If you’ve spent time in a corporate environment and come out the other side hungry for more autonomy, initiative and commercial thinking, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and gradually take ownership of tax-related work spanning personal income tax, VAT and broader direct/indirect tax matters
- Coordinate with clients, external accountants and partners to move projects forward
- Manage deadlines, documentation and follow-up with precision
- Contribute to business development, client relationships and commercial opportunities
- Bring ideas to the table on process improvements, growth angles, and how we do things better
- Pick up on the small technical details that matter, without needing everything spelled out
What We’re Looking For
- Entrepreneurial and commercially driven mindset — this matters more to us than years of experience
- A genuine will to learn, dig into detail, and grow, not just show up and execute
- Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting/tax (deep specialisation not required, but real engagement with the subject is)
- Experience working in a corporate environment, showing you can handle structure and pressure for a sustained period — or a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ADIT or similar) if corporate exposure isn’t there
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English
- Comfortable with digital tools and structured workflows
Why This Role Is Different
We’re not looking for someone who wants a comfortable, purely administrative seat. We want someone who wants to get somewhere, who sees this as a launchpad, not a landing spot.
What You’ll Get
- Gross annual salary of €25,000–€30,000, depending on qualifications and experience
- Hybrid model: 2 days per week from home, with adjusted flexibility during busy/tax season
- Flexible working hours, assessed case-by-case depending on workload
- Real exposure to tax, commercial strategy and business operations, not siloed work
- Support for professional development (approved employer status for relevant qualifications)
- Performance-based bonus potential (KPI-linked)
- A non-corporate, growth-focused culture where initiative is noticed and rewarded
Junior Tax Associate – Tax, Commercial & Operations
Nicosia, Cyprus | €22,000–€25,000 gross/annum
The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Tax Associate who is organized, disciplined and methodical, with a genuine interest in building a career in tax. This is an entry-to-early-career role, but it’s not a passive one; we want someone who takes structure seriously, follows process with precision, and is eager to grow into more responsibility over time. Like our more senior hires, we care about mindset just as much as CV: someone who is curious, reliable and hungry to learn will go further here than someone who simply checks boxes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with preparing and reviewing personal income tax forms and basic tax computations
- Support VAT and other routine compliance filings under guidance
- Track deadlines and submission progress through internal systems, methodically and without slippage
- Follow up with clients on pending documents, exemptions and status updates
- Maintain accurate, well-organized records and documentation
- Liaise with external accountants and partners for coordination and document collection
- Assist with back-office admin: invoicing, task monitoring, data organisation
What We’re Looking For
- Organized, disciplined and methodical approach to work — this matters as much as technical background
- Degree or relevant studies in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in tax, audit, accounting or administration (relevant internships count)
- Basic understanding of accounting/tax concepts, with a willingness to learn the rest
- Detail-oriented, especially under deadlines
- Comfortable with digital tools (Excel and other systems), eager to learn new ones
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English
- Bonus: ACCA, ACA or ADIT studies in progress (even part-qualified) is a plus
Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t a role where you’ll be lost in repetitive tasks with no visibility. You’ll get real exposure to how a modern tax and compliance business operates, with room to grow into broader responsibility as you prove yourself.
What You’ll Get
- Competitive entry-level salary, based on qualifications and experience
- Hybrid working arrangement after onboarding/training
- Structured, hands-on training in personal tax, compliance and digital tools
- Support for professional development (approved employer status for relevant qualifications)
- A supportive, non-corporate environment with a clear growth path
