Tax Associate

Our client is a well-established consultancy firm based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Offering tailored solutions to both Cypriot and international clients, the firm is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Complete and submit all relevant tax returns for companies and individual clients.
  • Prepare and submit requests for certificates, including tax clearance, Non-Dom, tax residency, and double tax treaties.
  • Conduct tax reviews of clients financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify tax implications and recommend treatments to supervisors.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax law.
  • Collaborate with team members under the guidance of senior tax professionals.
  • Report to the Tax Director on the status of assigned work.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations (training will be provided).
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) or relevant experience would be considered an advantage.

Your Skills Matter:

  • Fluency in English and Greek (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-oriented with attention to detail and accuracy.
