About Our Client
Our client is a globally regulated online trading broker offering Forex, CFDs, metals, crypto, indices and energy markets via MetaTrader 5. Licensed across multiple jurisdictions including Mauritius (FSC), South Africa (FSCA) and the Comoros (M.I.S.A.), a technology-first approach to the trading experience.
With a group headcount of approximately 400 employees globally and 100 based in Cyprus, the company is in an active growth phase — expanding its partner network, regional footprint and product offering. Their partner programme is a core revenue driver, offering up to 50% revenue share with daily payouts and real-time tracking.
The Role
Reporting into senior management, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for executing the company’s growth strategy across assigned regions (Asia, MENA and/or Africa). This is a revenue-generating, client-facing role with full ownership of the partner acquisition funnel — from identifying and onboarding IBs, affiliates and regional partners to driving client acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand the company’s presence across your assigned region, identifying new business opportunities and driving market penetration
- Build and manage a high-performing acquisition funnel — sourcing, onboarding and managing IBs, affiliates and regional partners
- Drive client acquisition and retention strategies, working closely with the partner network to maximise trading volumes and revenue
- Ensure operations within each market comply with local legal and regulatory frameworks, liaising with authorities and maintaining licensing requirements where applicable
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute localised campaigns that align with the brand and attract active traders
- Coordinate with global teams across compliance, finance, IT and customer service to streamline regional operations
- Analyse market trends, track KPIs and provide regular performance reports to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business development, sales or partnership management within the Forex/CFD brokerage industry
- In-depth understanding of the Forex/CFD market landscape, competitive dynamics and client acquisition strategies across Asia, MENA or Africa
- Established relationships with IBs, affiliates, traders and/or financial institutions in the target region(s)
- Proven track record in sales target achievement and partner/account management
- Familiarity with Forex trading platforms (MT4/MT5) and digital marketing strategies for trader acquisition
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional regional languages are a strong advantage
- Results-driven mindset with strong communication, strategic thinking and organisational skills
