Business Development Manager (Corporate Services)

Your Role:

You will have the overall responsibility for leading the Business Development team and the development and implementation of the Business Development strategy of the company. Handling all tasks assigned by the Board, to actively seek ways to drive growth, positive change and improvement and to be a proponent of the firm’s values. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a Business Development Plan for the company.
  • Set and monitor your teams and your personal performance targets.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the core and specialized services offered by the Group.
  • Create and improve proposals for existing and new clients.
  • Respond to inquiries made by clients about company products and services in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Identify and communicate with new business leads.
  • Contribute to the Business Development Targets for PNBs and new relationships with local intermediaries.
  • Attend meetings with potential intermediaries to build relationships.
  • Perform market research via newspapers, magazines and search engines to identify new opportunities and provide support for the business development team to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
  • Develop good knowledge regarding the sector and the market trends; ensuring that the company improves on its effectiveness in service delivery.
  • Provide support to the business development team with new sales inquiries and follow ups.
  • Manage reports and management information on a monthly basis to ensure the company meets up with its annual targets as set by the management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the rest of the offices of the Group ensuring synergies are in place. Provide regular updates on company services.
  • Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices
  • Liaise between the clients and offices of the Group for the incorporation of companies of foreign jurisdictions
  • Cooperate in a positive manner to the growth of the company by providing required assistance to other teams for new inquiries
  • Assist with the preparation and/or update of newsletters/mailers sent to the clients or other offices
  • Travel frequently depending on the Business Development Plan set for the year and any client need.
  • Achieve a basic knowledge of Viewpoint module to be able to interpret data displayed.

 

Your Profile:

  • Industry Experience and Knowledge – you have extensive industry experience and have an in-depth understanding of the specific industry in which the Company operates and are aware of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Product and Service Knowledge – you have a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s products and services and previously worked with such products and services. You are able to articulate the unique value proposition to potential clients.
  • Business Development Processes – you are knowledgeable of business development methodologies and best practices, and are familiar with tools and technologies used in business development.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning – you have the ability to develop and implement business strategies and have a long-term vision and foresight in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Sales and Marketing Techniques – you have a thorough understanding of sales funnels, customer journey, and conversion optimisation, and also have knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.
  • Sales Skills – you are an expert in lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals in addition have strong negotiation skills to secure profitable deals and partnerships.
  • Relationship Management – you are capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners and have strong networking skills to expand the Company’s reach and influence.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems – you are proficient in using CRM software to manage client information and track sales activities, and also have the understanding of CRM strategies to enhance customer relationships.
  • Communication Skills – you have strong verbal and written communication skills and you are capable of presenting ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical Skills – you have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and are proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Time Management – you have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and are efficient in managing time and meeting deadlines.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility – you can adapt to changing market conditions and business environments and are flexibility in handling unexpected challenges.
  • Project Management – you have strong skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
  • Marketing and Market Research – you possess knowledge of market research and analysis techniques and the understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Financial Acumen – you have a thorough understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting and the ability to assess the financial viability of potential deals.
  • Financial Principles – you have basic understanding of accounting, finance, and economics, and have the ability to read and interpret financial statements.
  • Legal and Compliance – you are aware of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and have knowledge of contract management and intellectual property rights.
  • Technology and Software – you have strong office software skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Language Skills – you have a professional level in English in both written and verbal communication.

 

What you will be offered:

  • Indicative Annual Basic Salary EUR 32,000 – 50,000+ gross plus commission (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • 13th Salary
