Donna Stephenson is the Founder and CEO of Emerald Zebra, a leading niche recruitment agency since 2021, based in Limassol, Cyprus. With over 20 years of experience in the recruitment and human resources field, Donna has built a strong reputation as a successful businesswoman and industry leader. Her innovative approach and knowledge of the local market have helped Emerald Zebra become the go-to agency for specialized recruitment solutions in Cyprus across the fintech, tech, finops and igaming sectors.

As well as leading a truly exceptional team, Donna takes a hands-on approach to recruitment and is passionate about finding the right people for the right job. She ensures that the recruitment process is fair, transparent, and ethical. Donna's extensive network of connections reaches across continents, supporting her team to recruit from entry level to middle management roles and their functional reports, to Executive/C-level, board, and NED appointments.She holds a BSc in European Business & Technology from a UK University and is an ENTP according to the Myers Briggs 2019 assessment.

From England and trained at one of the most successful recruiting businesses in the world, Donna achieved her first recruitment office in the UK at the age of 27. Donna moved to Cyprus in 2003, and later founded and led successful ventures such as GRS Recruitment, Fairfax Yeaman and FX Careers in Cyprus and Malta during 2005-2018. Donna is well versed in advising boards for corporate hiring, serving on HR committees and educational development groups (Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA, HR/Training Committee), Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, CISI, London/Cyprus). She has been a panel and keynote speaker at various industry conferences, including HR panels, iFX Cyprus, Forex Expo, iFX Dubai and TEDx Molos Women. She is also the founder of the HR PowerBreakfast series reflecting her commitment to driving innovation and building connections in the industry.
