HR Officer

Your Role:

As an HR Officer/Head you will manage and enhance the full HR functions of the firm for a team of 35 – 40 employees. In this role, you’ll foster a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous development, oversee the entire employee lifecycle and drive employee satisfaction, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and support team development while providing guidance with the firms operational system.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices aligned with the firms objectives.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies in accordance with legal changes and best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads in order to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Work with management to create individual employee development plans and career paths.
  • Design, implement, and manage performance evaluation and feedback systems.
  • Collaborate with management to develop competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Manage and promote bonus schemes of the firm.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and market trends to ensure the firm’s offerings are competitive.
  • Identify training needs and organize professional development programs. Support continuous learning initiatives and ensure compliance with mandatory training.
  • Promote a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns and facilitating resolution.
  • Organize and lead engagement initiatives to boost employee morale and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, handle payroll coordination, leave management, and other HR administration tasks.
  • Track and report on key HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Implement processes to improve productivity, reduce turnover, and drive employee engagement.
  • Report to the Managing Partner

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR, preferably within professional services, legal, or consulting industries
  • HR certifications will be considered a plus
  • Experience working in a large organization as an Assistant HR Officer /Deputy HR Manager is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to promote strong relationships and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Fluent in English and Greek
  • Proficiency with HR software and tools

 

What is on offer:

  • Salary range: EUR 30,000 – 33,000 gross/year based on experience and qualifications

  • Working hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday Thursday) and 8:00 am – 2:30 pm (Friday)
