Emerald Zebra is excited to partner with in Limassol to find an experienced Compliance Officer.
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible in developing and enforcing robust compliance frameworks. You will ensure that the company meets regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Compliance to design and improve policies and procedures, aligning with relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate compliance policies effectively across teams and lead training sessions to maintain awareness and adherence.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, enforcing compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Develop corrective action plans to address compliance gaps, minimizing potential risks.
- Stay informed on regulatory updates, conduct investigations into compliance issues, and document findings.
- Report on compliance activities and advise senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.
- Participate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives, ensuring ongoing adherence to AML and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CTF) standards.
- Manage the second-line monitoring and assessment program, including AML checks, due diligence, and client identification processes.
- Collaborate with the team on preparing applications, reports, and updates for regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of compliance experience, especially in AML, KYC, MiFID, and MiFIR regulations.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced CySEC and AML certifications.
