Head of Sales

Are you an experienced sales leader with a proven background in B2B payments and a passion for building and leading high-performing teams?

Our client, a UK-regulated EMI in the financial services sector, is seeking a Head of Sales to spearhead their global sales efforts and expand their presence in the B2B payments industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a sales team and drive business development, contributing to the company’s long-term growth in the payments solutions market.

If you have 5+ years of sales experience in B2B financial services, particularly within the payments or banking industry, and are ready to take on the challenge of scaling sales operations, we want to hear from you.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team.
  • Closely monitor daily sales activities and track sales prospects.
  • Identify and develop new sales verticals, uncovering opportunities through LinkedIn, social media, and strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare detailed sales and progress reports for senior leadership.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image of the department and company in all internal and external communications, fostering strong relationships.
  • Ensure confidentiality and prevent conflicts of interest by taking all necessary precautions.
  • Develop and implement new sales strategies to convert opportunities into profitable business, while supporting sales and marketing initiatives such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Attract new clients and convert them into active, long-term accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department on lead generation and sales promotions.
  • Perform other duties, training, or tasks as required, in line with the role’s responsibilities.
  • Engage new Introducers, Partners, and Agents, and work with them to drive revenue growth.
  • Report directly to Management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven Sales and Business Development experience in the B2B Payments industry (EMI/PI/SPI).
  • Familiarity with Medium to High-Risk sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing LinkedIn for business development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Professional, able to work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success with a proven portfolio and track record.

Info & Benefits:

  • Salary Range, based on qualifications and experience 7,000 to 10,000 Euro Gross plus commission.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Lunch provided once a week, daily snacks and beverages..
  • Choose between a Sports Benefit or a Wolt lunch allowance.
  • Half day on your birthday.
