Senior Trading Dealer

We are hiring a Senior Trading Analyst to join our client in Nicosia or Limassol office (on-site), a multi regulated broker and award-winning trading platform operating for more than two decades offering CFDs and other derivatives on forex, stocks and indices, cryptocurrencies, commodities

Your role:
As a Senior Dealer, you will play an executive role in analysing market trendsand making strategic decisions that impact our trading and business operations.You will leverage risk metrics and advanced mathematical and financial methods to gain insights into customer trading behaviour and risk limits. Drawing on your expertise in financial markets, financial products, and macroeconomics. You will lead your team in taking ownership of projects aimed at pioneering new products and platforms that meet compliance requirements and introduce a new generation of trading products to the fintech landscape.

Your challenges:

  • Contribute to business growth by generating ideas for increasing volumes,
    improving profitability, managing risk, enhancing engagement, and improving
    quality metrics.
  • Monitor risk metrics, customer activity, revenue, trends, and trading behaviour
    to ensure compliance with risk limits.
  • Evaluate marketplace competitiveness and propose strategies for building and
    expanding business.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Front Office quantitative analysts, to develop and maintain risk management tools for products and platforms.
  • Maintain relationships with liquidity providers and market markers.
  • Respond to requests from Customer Service, Compliance, Marketing, and
    Anti-fraud teams.
  • Test new products in pre-launch stages to ensure functional trading conditions
    and risk management tools.

What you have:

  • University degree in a quantitative field
    3+ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in backtesting analysis
  • Good data analysis skills and knowledge of SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, financial products, macroeconomics
  • Ability to develop frameworks and SOPs to improve risk coverage and
    productivity
  • Ability to proactively manage projects by identifying shortcomings at an early
    stage.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to oversee tasks from start to finish
  • Confidence to address a diverse range of audiences, including all levels of
    management and internal/external stakeholders
  • A team-oriented mindset and an enthusiastic approach to new challenges
  • A keen interest in business news and market trends
  • Exposure to utilising frameworks and risk metrics to investigate any issues
  • Ability to work on projects and tasks with minimal guidance
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
