Our client, is a well-established maritime technology Company and is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and shape its product strategy. This role is perfect for someone with experience in product management, a passion for technology, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in developing new services and improving existing products, helping the company grow while ensuring the sales and delivery teams have clear direction.
Responsibilities:
- Shaping the Product Vision: Define and guide the product strategy to align with business goals.
- Understanding Customers: Engage with customers to learn their challenges and ensure the company’s solutions meet real needs.
- Building Efficient Systems: Lead teams to establish strong product development processes and governance.
- Team Development: Support the growth of the product management team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Maximizing Profitability: Work with technical teams to prioritize investments according to revenue and projections and forecasts and ensure the company remains profitable.
- Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, customer needs, and competition to make smart business decisions.
- Product Development: Oversee the process from idea to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams.
- Roadmap planning: Create a clear product roadmap that prioritizes improvements based on business goals and customer feedback.
- Collaboration: Work with different teams and external partners to ensure product success.
- Measuring Success: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve products based on data insights.
- Managing Resources: Allocate budgets and resources effectively to maximize impact.
Background and experience:
- Experience: At least 5 years in product management, leading a product line or portfolio. Proven experience launching new products and growing market share.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with maritime, logistics, insurance, finance, port infrastructure, or telecommunications industries is a plus.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
