Our client, a Larnaca-based venture capital firm, invests in innovative and inspiring entrepreneurs, providing both expertise and financial support to accelerate the growth of startups. Their diverse portfolio spans multiple industries, including accounting & tax, fiduciary services, hospitality, fintech, real estate, waste management, and charitable organizations.

They are now seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in the successful execution of projects across all business units. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual eager to contribute to the smooth management of multiple projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and team leads, you will ensure that tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Support the development of project plans and schedules.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables with the Project Manager.
  • Help manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

Monitor Project Progress:

  • Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks or issues.
  • Prepare status reports and updates for the Project Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining project documentation and ensuring project records are up to date.

Support Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Assist in coordinating tasks and activities across various departments, ensuring collaboration and alignment.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, ensuring that everyone is informed and on track with project goals.
  • Act as a point of contact for any project-related inquiries.

Resource and Task Management:

  • Support resource allocation by identifying staffing needs and coordinating team assignments with senior project managers.
  • Monitor team workloads and help manage task prioritization to ensure efficiency.

Assist in Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Escalate risks and issues to the Project Manager and provide recommendations for resolution.

Conduct Project Research and Analysis:

  • Gather and analyze data related to project performance, cost, and timelines.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to support project success.

Facilitate Meetings and Communication:

  • Organize and attend project meetings, take minutes, and ensure action items are followed up.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for project reviews and updates.
  • Help manage communication between stakeholders, including project updates and changes.

Post-Project Evaluation:

  • Support post-project reviews to evaluate successes and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and contribute to process improvements for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination or support role (junior candidates accepted).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on projects across various business functions.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Jira, Monday.com).
  • Certification in project management is a plus.
