Our client, an Electronic Money Institution, are currently seeking to
hire a Webmaster
based in Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the websites architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Assisting in formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working template or plugin
Requirements:
- Proficient in front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with WordPress is essential
- Skilled in developing user interfaces for websites and web applications
- Expertise in designing and implementing responsive websites.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Capable of translating layout designs and wireframes into functional HTML pages
- Understanding of interacting with RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML formats
- Strong grasp of PHP back-end development, including marketing servers, SMTP protocols, and mass email programs (desirable)
- Ability to deploy VPS servers and linux (debian prefered) commands knowledge is a must
- Good command of the English language
