Lead Web Developer

Our client is a market-leading financial trading firm, regulated by CySEC and specialized in providing a platform for trading a diverse range of financial products, including foreign exchange, CFDs and commodity spot trading. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer to join their team of experts. You will be based at the company’s Limassol, Cyprus office (Hybrid).  Will be reporting directly to the CTO and manage a team of two Developers (one Web Developer and one CMS Developer).

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a CMS for a multi-locale marketing website, supporting the company’s different regulatory regions and different businesses.
  • Create and maintain the content of the CMS inline with the company’s marketing strategy
  • Recruit and train the team that will carry out these technical tasks
  • Collaborate closely with the business Product Owner and Product team to ensure the company meets its commercial objectives
  • Provide technical mentoring and ensure learning and progression within the team


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field
  • Experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer
  • In-depth knowledge of React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience building or working with CMS platforms
  • Strong awareness of design principles
  • Good understanding of modern UI frameworks like React
  • Familiar with LEAN product development
  • Familiar with Web Analytic frameworks
  • A solid understanding of how front-end applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
