They are seeking to hire an experienced lawyer
to join the Legal Department of the Group in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing commercial/corporate agreements, resolutions and other legal documents
- Drafting and reviewing policies and/or other documents related to data protection matters
- Assisting with various transactions and operational matters, including commercial and property transactions
- Assisting with immigration matters
- Ensuring that the Group’s local and international companies meet statutory obligations
- Liaising with agents, advisors and consultants in various jurisdictions
- Managing and coordinating advice from external professionals
- Undertaking due diligence checks conducted by banks
- Providing support with various Ad hoc projects/tasks
Requirements:
- Law degree (LLB)
- 3+ years in the role of Corporate Lawyer in a law firm or in-house
- Knowledge of Cyprus Company Law CAP 113
- Experience with ensuring companies meet statutory obligations
- Understanding of GDPR and local data protection laws
- Experience with real property transactions and immigration matters is a plus
- Solid drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and spoken
- Top interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a great team
