IT Project Manager (Shipping)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Salary: 24,000 – 45,000 Gross/Year (depending on experience)

Emerald Zebra is working closely with a well-established Company specialized in the Maritime Technology sector and seeking to recruit an IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate a range of technology-related projects, from simple initiatives to complex IT implementations. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for technology and a strong interest in transforming business operations through digital solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of proven experience in project management or similar roles
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and IT best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn specialised software tools
  • Experience facilitating workshops and delivering presentations

Desirable Skills:

  • Professional certifications (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Ability to teach or present IT-related topics
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned IT projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution
  • Develop, maintain, and revise project proposals, timelines, resource plans, and objectives
  • Monitor project milestones, address potential delays, and adjust timelines as necessary
  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are captured and integrated through a structured change management process
  • Implement project communication plans and provide regular status updates to all stakeholders
  • Analyse data and trends to produce project status reports
  • Facilitate change management planning and execution within projects
  • Conduct project workshops, kick-offs, and visioning sessions
  • Ensure project governance and quality assurance standards are upheld throughout the lifecycle
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
