Head of Marketing, Fintech

Our client is searching for an experienced and self-driven Head of Marketing.
This person will lead the Marketing department and drive the growth of the company.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the fintech and/or payments industry and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.


-Design and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals, objectives with a clear vision
-Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends to inform marketing strategies and product development
-Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and a strong ROI
-Develop and execute targeted campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, and events
-Manage all aspects of the company’s brand, including messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice
-Ensure maximum return on trade marketing investment within prescribed budgets and in support of the broader marketing strategy
-Manage and constantly refine the social media presence
-Conduct and analyze market research data to define product positioning, as well as monitor competitive activity and identify new business ideas
-Coordinate, monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
-Direct and manage the recruitment and development Marketing team
-Direct, guide, and develop the individuals within the team across physical and digital product portfolios
-Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs


-Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
-5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role in Fintech and/or Payments industry
-Excellent understanding of funnel marketing, customer acquisition and management and metrics
-Strong understanding of the fintech industry and the ability to develop effective marketing strategies
-Experience and understanding of marketing and product performance tracking tools
-Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
-Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, as well as an ability to demonstrate success in managing and growing a Marketing team in the FinTech industry
-Experience managing budgets and delivering strong ROI
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform marketing decisions
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
-Excellent contacts in the FinTech market and good knowledge of the growing influence of social media
-Strong project and people management skills with the ability to work in a diverse culture
-The ability to remain cool under pressure and adapt to a quick changing environment
-Self-motivated and confident individual who can communicate at all levels


Very competitive package. Depending on profile and experience – 3500 to 5500 euros gross. Negotiable
