Client Accountant

Your Role:

As a Client Accountant you will be responsible for managing the overall accounting of a diverse portfolio of companies comprising of a mixture of holding entities, financing entities, companies involved with the provision of services, trademarks, properties, partnerships, etc. You will be responsible for the bookkeeping, preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, handling payroll calculations and ensuring timely invoice settlements. You will report directly to the Managers of the Client Accounting Department.



You will be responsible for:

  • Bookkeeping for all companies under the assigned portfolio.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual management accounts, as may be requested by clients.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly VIES Forms.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns Forms.
  • Preparation of clients monthly payroll calculations.
  • Attending to auditors queries and assisting them in completing the companies audit.
  • Achieve a good working knowledge of Viewpoint Client Accounting software and how to use this efficiently, as prescribed by internal guidelines.
  • Monitoring settlement of invoices.



Your qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Holder of a bachelors degree in Accounting and / or the LCCI Higher Accountancy Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous working experience in a similar position with proven experience in bookkeeping, preparations of financial statements and preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
  • Good self-organisation and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactiveness and good use of initiative
  • Conscientious positive outlook and willingness to learn, increase knowledge and expand
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in use of MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)



What you will be offered:

  • Annual Salary Range: EUR 28,600 – 36,400 gross (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • 13th
    Salary (included in Annual Salary range stated)
  • Provident fund: 3% Employer
  • Employee Medical Insurance
  • Working hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (1hr lunch)
  • 35 hrs working week
  • Hybrid schedule
  • 20 days annual leave (increase with the number of years with the company)
  • 5 days paid sick leave
