Our client is one of the most reputable and well-established Group of Companies offering Financial Services in the FinTech sector. They are seeking to hire a Back Officer Team Leader with experience in the Forex Industry to join their team in Paphos.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily execution of tasks relating to deposits and withdrawals
- Leading the risk assessment of all transactions related to deposits, withdrawals and credits, to identify potential fraud and other related issues, and take all necessary actions
- Resolving internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
- Preparing of various regulatory reports related to back-office/administration
- Identifying and enhancing internal procedures, systems, and controls
- Taking initiative, delegating effectively, and communicating clearly to meet the departments goals
- In addition to the above duties, the team leader from time to time will be required to undertake additional or other duties
- Providing leadership and guidance to the back-office team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Continuously assessing and streamlining back-office processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Training, mentoring, and motivating team members to optimize performance and foster a culture of excellence
- Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration
- Preparing regular reports on back-office performance metrics, including transaction volumes, error rates, and turnaround times
- Addressing and resolving escalated issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Leveraging technological tools and systems to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity within the back-office environment
- Ensuring timely completion of back-office tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in back-office operations within the financial services industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
