Back Office Officer

Our client, a well-established and fully regulated Forex Company is seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Back Office Officer to join their team in Limassol.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of Forex operations and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in opening and closing client accounts, performing necessary checks and documentation. Handle account maintenance tasks, including updating client information, margin requirements, and leverage settings.
  • Transaction Processing- Accurately and efficiently process client deposits and withdrawals.
  • Maintain and update electronic and physical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This includes verifying client information, and financial statements.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, such as anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to address client inquiries and resolve issues related to account transactions, statements, and general account information. Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist in monitoring and mitigating operational risks by conducting periodic reviews, identifying irregularities, and implementing appropriate controls and procedures.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as dealing, compliance, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination for efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • 1+years of experience in a similar back office role within the Forex industry or financial services sector preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Forex trading operations.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, such as AML and KYC requirements.
  • Proficient in using relevant software including accounting software, MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in shifts.
