Invest in real conversations, not just AI-driven workflows

Lately, there have been countless claims that X company is set to ‘revolutionize’ recruitment with its AI-driven software backed by millions in VC funding and a dose of snake oil 🤭

If I’m looking for a job, I want to speak to a real person not a bot.

If I’m selected for a screening interview, I want to have a real time interview with a person. Not a pre recorded interview that I record whilst answering the bots questions.

If I’m looking for a job, I want to engage with a real person by message, phone, video or email…or in person like the old days! Not with a bots automated sequence.

VC’s can throw their cash to burn.

If you want high levels of engagement with candidates or clients, a bot is not the solution. Trust, empathy and real engagement matter. Speaking to a real recruiter is someone who understands their skills, aspirations, and concerns and this makes all the difference.

A bot can screen CVs, but it can’t truly listen. A real-time conversation allows for interaction, clarification, and a genuine connection, things a bot simply can’t provide.

VC’s throw money at recruitment tech, but they’re deluded in thinking they can revolutionize the entire workflow.

I use AI but it won’t replace me, it assists me. Why? Because a great hiring process is not just about efficiency, it’s about relationships. High-touch, personalized engagement, not just a chatbot funnel!

Invest in real conversations, not just AI-driven workflows 🤯

My two cents.
