The Role
We are hiring a C and Pro*C Developer with strong SQL skills and hands on experience in Linux, Unix or Tandem environments. This is a backend engineering role on critical batch and database driven applications within a major banking platform.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain applications using C and Pro*C
- Build and optimise database driven applications (SQL and PL/SQL)
- Manage memory, pointers and file I/O operations
- Work on batch and backend processing systems
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams on requirement analysis and delivery
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience in C programming and SQL
- Production experience with Pro*C
- Hands on experience in Linux, Unix or Tandem environments
- Strong grasp of memory management, pointers and low level file I/O
- Experience working on batch and backend processing systems
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
The Details
- Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Fully onsite, no remote or hybrid option
- Hours: 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday
- Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
