Senior HR Officer

Our client, a rapidly expanding provider of cutting-edge technology solutions to clients around the world, is now seeking to recruit an Senior HR Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant academic background in Human Resources or a related field and possess approximately 4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally working in a multi-cultural, multi-jurisdiction company.


Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. – Collaborating with hiring managers to define staffing needs and job descriptions.
  • Handling employee concerns, disputes, and grievances. – Promoting a positive work environment and resolving interpersonal issues.
  • Developing and implementing performance appraisal systems. – Assisting in goal-setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identifying training needs and creating learning programs.
  • Creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures. – Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees. – Managing the exit process for departing employees, including exit interviews.
  • Collecting and analyzing HR data to inform decision-making. – Tracking key HR metrics, such as turnover and retention rates.
  • Staying updated on labor laws and regulations. – Ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements.
  • Support the Senior Management Team to achieve the Companys vision & strategy,

Key Skills/Experience

  • Educated to degree level in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Approximately 4+ years of previous experience within a similar HR senior role is a must.
  • Good understanding of Cyprus Labour law and GRPR requirements.
  • Any previous experience with HR & Payroll systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Previous experience with performance appraisals and/or employee evaluation systems.
