Our client, a rapidly expanding provider of cutting-edge technology solutions to clients around the world, is now seeking to recruit an Senior HR Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia.
The successful applicant will hold a relevant academic background in Human Resources or a related field and possess approximately 4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally working in a multi-cultural, multi-jurisdiction company.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. – Collaborating with hiring managers to define staffing needs and job descriptions.
- Handling employee concerns, disputes, and grievances. – Promoting a positive work environment and resolving interpersonal issues.
- Developing and implementing performance appraisal systems. – Assisting in goal-setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Identifying training needs and creating learning programs.
- Creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures. – Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees. – Managing the exit process for departing employees, including exit interviews.
- Collecting and analyzing HR data to inform decision-making. – Tracking key HR metrics, such as turnover and retention rates.
- Staying updated on labor laws and regulations. – Ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements.
- Support the Senior Management Team to achieve the Companys vision & strategy,
Key Skills/Experience
- Educated to degree level in Human Resources or a related field.
- Approximately 4+ years of previous experience within a similar HR senior role is a must.
- Good understanding of Cyprus Labour law and GRPR requirements.
- Any previous experience with HR & Payroll systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Previous experience with performance appraisals and/or employee evaluation systems.
