Our client is a fast-growing Tech Company and seeking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Limassol.
You will be working with the CTO and Software Development team on a greenfield project and be responsible for the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure. You will also have the flexibility to learn and use new technologies to expand your learning curve.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to plan, deploy and applications running on AWS infrastructure and Docker Swarm.
- Build from scratch our monitoring system in Grafana using Prometheus, Grafana Loki and Grafana OnCall.
- Orchestrate the infrastructure transition from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes Cluster.
- Familiarize with current setup of our CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab and improve it.
- Build and assist development team to deploy Kafka messaging technology for the communication our microservices.
- Orchestrate the transition from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes Cluster.
- Familiarize with our Single Sign On technology (Keycloak), improve it and monitor it.
- Keep up to date with the latest tools and trends in the industry and suggest you new ideas to improve the infrastructure.
- Provide technical and developmental mentoring to junior DevOps.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or any other relevant degree.
- At least 5 years of work experience in DevOps development.
- Mandatory knowledge and professional experience with both Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms, AWS highly preferred
- Working knowledge of infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform) and monitoring tools (such as Grafana)
- Eager to learn and work with new technologies
- Experience with any major RDBMS will be an advantage.
- Overall knowledge of software development and release practices according to DevOps principles
- Strong team-working skills and interest in personal development.
