Reporting Specialist

Our Client is an IT services and IT Consulting company that provides world-class services in enterprise architecture consulting, user experience design, enterprise mobile app engineering, and development, active software maintenance, software testing, and production operations support.

Hiring a Reporting Specialist to report to management (Nicosia, Onsite or Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Collecting data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant systems.
  • Organizing and cleaning data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Applying statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful information.
  • Creating and maintaining standardized reports and dashboards.
  • Developing data visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively present information.
  • Ensuring data reports are visually appealing, user-friendly, and easy to interpret.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and customize reports accordingly.
  • Conducting data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Identifying data inconsistencies or errors and resolving them promptly.
  • Implementing data governance practices to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
  • Documenting data sources, methodologies, and data transformation processes.
  • Creating data dictionaries and metadata documentation for reference.
  • Developing data reporting standards, templates, and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs.
  • Communicating findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assisting stakeholders in understanding and interpreting data reports.
  • Participating in meetings and providing data-related expertise and support.
  • Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging data reporting trends.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance data reporting processes and tools.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to streamline data reporting workflows.

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in IT Industry will be consider an advantage.
  • Work experience for 2+ years.
  • Proof of educational programs/degree or any related certifications.
  • Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerBI)
  • Good understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Technical Task

  • Dataset Selection: We will provide the candidate with a dataset that aligns with the type of data they would encounter in the role. The dataset will contain a sufficient amount of information and complexity to showcase their skills.
  • Data Analysis: Identifying trends, calculating key metrics, or finding correlations.
  • Report Creation: Create a comprehensive report based on their data analysis. Reports should be provided in any format. Target audience: CEO and CFO.
  • Communication and Presentation: Candidate will need to present the report to an audience.
