About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Test Engineer to join the User Experience & Product Acceptance team and help maintain the high level of quality and reliability our client’s digital products are known for.
Working alongside software developers across a range of web and mobile projects, you’ll assess software quality by designing and implementing testing processes. You’ll take ownership of code quality through manual testing, and identify and report system issues in line with quality standards and business needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Gathering, reviewing and analysing business and system specifications
- Collaborating with Product Owners and Developers to ensure the quality of each feature
- Designing and executing test cases and analysing the results
- Conducting tests across systems, browsers and devices, for both web and mobile
- Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
- Reporting bugs and errors to the Development Team and assisting in troubleshooting
- Conducting post-release and post-implementation testing
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identifying key KPIs for product quality
- Preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management
- Reporting to the QA Team Lead
What we’re looking for:
- An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ demonstrated experience as a QA Test Engineer
- Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- The ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working
- Strong command of API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI and WireMock
- An analytical mind and a problem-solving aptitude
- The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- A methodical, diligent and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders on both a technical and non-technical level
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
