Hiring an iOS Developer for their Limassol Office (Hybrid) reporting to the R&D Manager.
As an iOS Developer with Gaming Experience, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality gaming applications for iOS devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to create immersive and engaging gaming experiences. Your expertise in iOS app development and your passion for gaming will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our gaming products.
Key Responsibilities:
- iOS App Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance gaming applications for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad.
- Gaming Mechanics: Implement gaming mechanics, user interactions, and gameplay elements into iOS gaming apps to deliver captivating experiences.
- Graphics and Animations: Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate visually appealing graphics, animations, and special effects into gaming applications.
- Mobile Optimization: Optimize gaming applications for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency to ensure a seamless gaming experience on iOS devices.
- Real-time Communication: Implement real-time multiplayer features and gaming interactions using network protocols.
- Game Analytics: Integrate analytics tools to gather data and insights into user behavior, helping to improve game design and user engagement.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with backend developers to integrate iOS applications with server-side APIs and gaming services.
- Version Control: Utilize version control systems like Git to manage code repositories efficiently.
- Bug Fixing and Testing: Identify and resolve bugs and issues through thorough testing and debugging processes, ensuring a stable and reliable gaming application.
- Gaming Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the gaming industry, incorporating relevant technologies and best practices into our projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as an iOS Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing gaming-related projects.
- Gaming Background: Solid understanding of gaming mechanics, user interactions, and gaming industry trends.
- iOS App Development: Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, and a strong command of iOS SDK, Xcode, and Interface Builder.
- Game Engines: Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine would be advantageous.
- Graphics and Animation: Familiarity with Core Graphics and other graphics libraries to implement 2D and 3D gaming elements.
- Mobile UI/UX: Knowledge of iOS UI/UX guidelines and best practices to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Backend Integration: Understanding of server-side APIs and networking concepts to collaborate with backend developers effectively.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
