Human Resources Officer, Limassol

On behalf of our client, a growing FinTech group, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join their expanding team at their Limassol office on a hybrid schedule.


About the Role:

Our client is looking for an HR professional who will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s people operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people, and is committed to fostering a positive and compliant workplace.  As the bridge between management and employees, the HR Officer will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, office administration, and the smooth day-to-day functioning of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding processes and ensure proper documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Cyprus employment legislation
  • Provide HR support to employees (leave management, payroll-related queries, attestations, etc.)
  • Build trusting relationships with staff and management to help promote a healthy work environment
  • Prepare and submit payroll information to the external payroll provider
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the Head of Operations
  • Liaise with external partners such as insurance providers and payroll services
  • Support planning and execution of team-building and employee engagement activities
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure a tidy, efficient workspace
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, and facility-related matters
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with company events
  • Provide administrative support during audits, inspections, or other regulatory processes
  • Learn and utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian platforms (training provided)


Your Profile:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a similar role
  • Solid understanding of Cyprus labor laws and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Professional, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) is an advantage willingness to learn is essential
