In the role of Human Resource Generalist, you will play a pivotal part in establishing our new office. Situated in Paphos and recently opened, this office necessitates the complete setup of HR operations, including processes, HR software, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass recruiting a team to drive the growth of this new location, contributing to its flourishing journey.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Selection:
- Posting job openings. Screening resumes and applications. Conducting interviews. Assisting in candidate selection.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinating new employee orientations. Facilitating paperwork completion. Introducing new hires to company policies and culture.
- Employee Relations:
- Handling employee grievances. Addressing concerns and conflicts. Promoting a positive work environment.
- Performance Management:
- Managing performance appraisal processes. Providing feedback to employees and managers. Developing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Training and Development:
- Identifying training needs. Organizing and conducting training sessions. Supporting employee development plans.
- HR Compliance:
- Ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. Maintaining accurate employee records. Managing documentation related to employment law. Managing benefits.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Creating and updating HR policies and procedures. Ensuring policy compliance across the organization.
- Employee Engagement:
- Organizing employee engagement activities. Monitoring employee morale and satisfaction. Suggesting improvements to boost engagement.
- Compensation Management:
- Administering payroll and compensation processes. Conducting salary reviews and market research.
- Termination and Exit Processes:
- Managing employee separations. Conducting exit interviews. Ensuring proper documentation and legal procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources roles.
- Sound understanding of employment laws and regulations specific to Cyprus.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes.
- Proficiency in English and Greek languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
