As a backend developer, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of the company’s applications and systems. This involves creating robust and efficient APIs, databases, and other backend functionalities to ensure seamless operation and security.
You’ll collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality fintech solutions that meet both user needs and industry regulations. Additionally, you might be involved in optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated with the latest technologies and trends relevant to backend development in our domain.
Requirements
-Possess a foundational background in software development, ideally holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
-Accumulate 3-5 years of hands-on development expertise, proficiently working with scripting programming languages like PHP, Python, OR Ruby.
-Demonstrate experience and comprehension of asynchronous functions and processes.
-Exhibit a robust grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and REST design principles.
-Engage actively in collaborative activities such as code reviews, design evaluations, and group debugging sessions.
-Showcase a track record of crafting and maintaining an inclusive suite of unit and integration tests.
-Display familiarity with constructing and advancing RESTful APIs.
-Capable of operating within an agile development environment or a comparable methodology.
-Possess adept SQL application skills.
-Experience with Google Cloud or AWS is considered an advantage.
-Familiarity with working with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools is seen as beneficial.
-A solid foundation in Linux knowledge is a plus.
