We’re pleased to announce the release of the Emerald Zebra 2025 Cyprus Salary & Workforce Insights Report, our annual overview of salary and workforce trends across Cyprus.

This free report brings together verified salary data from employees and employers across FinTech, Tech, Financial Services and iGaming, combined with insights from Emerald Zebra’s talent pool.

It’s a transparent snapshot of the market, freely shared to help both employers and professionals make informed decisions around pay, attraction and retention.

A Note on Data Growth and Comparisons

This year’s participation grew by 39%. That’s encouraging progress, but we’re not yet at the scale required to confidently compare salaries by industry, city, or specific job roles.

If, for example, most participants in one year work in Limassol-based FinTech SMEs, and the next year includes more respondents from Nicosia and larger organisations, average salary shifts could reflect sample differences rather than real market movement.

Our goal is to expand the respondent base further so we can eventually provide robust breakdowns by job family, company size, city and year-on-year change making this the most robust salary benchmark available in Cyprus.

This edition is a free market snapshot, created entirely in-house by the Emerald Zebra team. The purpose of publishing this data openly is to raise awareness and promote fairness. Employers who are paying above the median are already competing at a high level, and that’s something to be proud of. It reflects strong talent retention strategies and a commitment to valuing people properly.

Likewise, if your company finds its pay bands sitting below the market median, this isn’t a criticism, it’s an opportunity to reflect, benchmark and plan ahead. The data offers perspective, not prescription.

Our aim is to bring clarity to the conversation around pay in Cyprus to support informed decisions, strengthen transparency and help both employers and professionals benchmark with confidence.
